Wedding Day at the Red Jacket Resort

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is being able to play with my client’s friends and families. They aren’t clients anymore, they are my friends. We laugh, we cry and we dance with you.
Allie and Ryan are so adorable, with one just look you start grinning so big, your cheeks start to hurt!

October 7th, 2017 was a wicked cool day at the Red Jacket Resort in South Yarmouth, MA. The perfect kinda of day for a Cape Cod Wedding. It started off really foggy, I hoped it would burn off but I really wasn’t sure. If you know Cape Cod, you know that the weather can change on a moments notice. As I tell my kids, even in summer, be ready with layers.

Allie’s bridesmaids were adorably giddy and welcomed me into their cottage smiling and chatting away like we were old friends. I can’t say enough warm things about Allie and her Mom Katy. I am truly lucky to have met them.

Allie is a girl after my own heart. She’s pulled to the beach like the tide with the ocean. When she mentioned she wanted to get into the water, I think I actually did a little yelp of glee! It definitely wasn’t the perfect beach weather for families, but it didn’t stop one beachgoer from admiring our couple and helping out by holding the Bouquet. (never a shortage of awesome people coming to the cape!)

After a full day of vows, amazing speeches, pictures on the beach, we were blessed with an amazing sunset.

Congratulations Allie and Ryan. We couldn’t have asked for better friends… er I mean clients. <3
